Day 12

"What day is it today?"

It feels like that every day for the past couple of weeks. I know, it's Wednesday, but you have to understand that we have a rather scheduled and organized life despite the craziness that inevitably comes to pass. Yesterday was a good day - the hope is now that Judah may still come home on Thursday! He just has to keep from having an SVT for 48 hours. He's made it 24 hours and a bit now. Not that much longer to go! And - then we'll get instructions from the cardiologist to make sure.

We were told his meds weren't easy to find, so we should look around. Well, they're 3 blocks away at Superstore. Sweet. I went looking for paedeatric stethoscopes the other day too (doesn't everyone?) and didn't find one at either of two medical supply stores in the Northeast. The nurses only knew of two more, but someone was kind enough to give us their old one. It works great! Again, thank you Lord. Those things cost money...

Our whole family went to see Judah for a while yesterday and dropped off Faith for the afternoon. He's looking great and he tells me that he's looking forward to being home. He's never been there before and hears it's quite nice. Less beeping, and more screaming - if you know what I mean.

I'm working on a sermon, so I should get back to that. God impressed upon me what I should share about a week ago, and it's been as much an appropriate lesson for me as it will be for everyone else. My mom and dad are planning on coming down sometime soon. That will be great! Time to clean the office again...
