6 Months

Judah was six months old this week and I thought I should perhaps brag about him for a bit. You should all really feel a bit sorry for him. He is the third child and thus is not always paid attention too. He's not moving yet and so I can put him in one place and know he will be fine and also still be there when I return. Unless Micah moves him somewhere else to play. Although I think that maybe he chooses not to move so that I will have to carry him and thus he gets cuddled.

Judah loves being cuddled. He enjoys being bundled to sleep at night time and nap time. As soon as you wrap the blanket around him and tuck his arms in you can see him just relax and his eyes close almost instantly.

Our little man is usually all smiles and sunshine for everyone. He will smile very quickly for anyone who pays just the little bit of attention to him. His sunshine personality has been just what we have needed in the last few months. His smile on a bad day just makes the world all better. Judah seems to smile with his whole body. His arms wave, legs kick, and whole body gets involved in a huge smile.



Judah's personality extends to all of him. He is generally quite content and enjoys just being around us. He especially likes to watch the kids run by playing. One day he may want to join them but seems content to just watch right now.




He started eating 'real' food last week. Because I make my own baby food my ice cube trays are once again full of fruit and vegetables which have been cooked, blended, and are being frozen and waiting to be eaten. Food is one time that Judah is not content. He wants his food, NOW, and does not want to wait to long for it.

Judah just learned to play with his feet this week. I love this stage and think there is nothing cuter that him eating his feet. It also works well for when Aslynn takes his toys.
