Aslynn went with Grandma and Micah to Superstore yesterday. It was a lovely walk there, but on the return trip it began to rain. The kids didn't really seem to mind, but apparently Aslynn's sandals did. They're the kind that blink when she slaps her little feet to the beat. You know, they light up as her heavy feet hit the concrete. Anyway, they just won't stop. I guess the moisture in them created an electrical short. After 24 hours, one sandal is back to it's normal self, but the other is still lit up, hypnotically spinning in a whirlwind of brilliant red.
It's funny to walk into a room and see Aslynn's shoes acting as crazy and busy as she is.

UPDATE: The shoes ended up stopping 6 days later. On August 1st the ghostly phenomenon returned. This time one shoe went 36 hours and the other continued for another 2 days...
