Mark @ Work

Mark has had kind of a part-time job for the last few weeks. He is working for a friend of ours doing finishing on the outside of houses. It's weird to have him gone so much. Neither the kids or I are use to it. For the last 3 months we have been together all of the time and now he is gone for 11 hours a day. Both the kids and I have a bad case of missing daddy. This translates into bad moods all around. The kids are cranky, I'm cranky, there is a never ending list of things to do in the house, and ever before us looms the fact that Micah will have to go to school soon and so we will have to decide what to do with our lives. I have a friend who's saying in life is, 'this too shall pass'. I'm waiting for that day when all the upheaval, stress, and uncertainty is done. I think I may have to wait for heaven. In the meantime I'm looking forward to next week when Mark only works 3 days because his boss is going on holidays.
