Judah learned how to crawl this week. It started out as a bum wiggle. Then it turned into some rocking. Until this point he would rock back and forth and then lay down on his tummy for a break, thus sliding himself backwards with his stiff arms and straight legs. He actually figured out how to get around to the things he wanted going backwards. Either that's ingenious or really lazy, if you ask me.
Well, the bum wiggling and the rocking paid off when he figured out how to support his weight AND move his arms independently. He made it all the way across a room today. He usually stops before that because he finds something that will distract him in and amongst the toys and other debris the other two kids leave in their wake.
Way to go Judah! (Oct. 14, 2007) Sorry. I have to record the date so we remember to write it down somewhere else. We're pretty bad for that most times. I need to update his baby book for "Month 8". I'll get there.
