This weekend I feel like I'm abandoning my family. I have so many incomplete assignments that I must finish by Monday and Wednesday that I am going bonkers. There's a birthday party for a two-year-old friend at Wakamaw Park in Moose Jaw, Micah got some free meals from Quizno's for reading books again, there's a pre-school grad tonight, and I'm going to miss it all. And I'm not pleased. I love being with my family and doing crazy things together. I'd rather not mess up my schooling when I'm so close to the end. No, this is not due to perfectionism, it is simply overload.
Oh, and tomorrow morning I plan on installing the hot water tank that we've needed from the beginning when we moved here. I got what I think are all the parts and hope that it will all work out together in a short amount of time so that I can get back to my family and my work. **Sigh**. What a mess. Lord, pull me through.
