Hey, Judah! Don't be so proud...

Oh boy. He's not bashful at all. Once he had learned how to use the toilet and we allowed him to go to church without a diaper, he felt very free. In fact, he was so proud that he dropped drawers in Sunday School to show everyone that he was dry! Yes, that's right, pants around his ankles. Unfortunately, no-one let us know of his exhibitionism. We picked him up after Sunday School and brought him into the sanctuary for the main service, where he proceeded in his pride to once again pull his pants down for the whole world to see that, "I'm dry!" We quickly corrected him and took him out for a heart-to-little-heart about his actions. Of course, he was sent into Children's Church partway through the service. When we went to pick him up, his teacher informed us that he had proven his big-boyness by once again flashing the whole class. Oh my!

I was reminded of this on Monday when we had our small group over, the kids were told to go get their pyjamas on. Judah headed off to the bathroom for obvious reasons, and when he had come out - buck naked. He was going to get his PJ's on and marched right on through the room, all proud, in his birthday suit. And he got such a laugh that he was compelled NOT to go get his clothes on. Oh dear! What do we do? We clothed him and talked to him once again, and, well, hopefully he learns a thing or two one of these days....
