Micah has a sheepish look on his face for a reason here. He asked for a Mohawk to be shaved in his head, like his cousin Riley had before. We showed him a couple of pictures of Mr. T and such before we went through with it, also knowing that it could easily be shaved off at a moment's notice. Well, Micah liked it and it stayed. This happened the weekend following Easter. The next weekend we were supposed to all be at a job interview together, and he knew that he had to shave it off before then. Silly silly silly!
But when we arrived home and he realized that he would have to go to school and explain his hair to his friends, he balked. I had to cut his hair less than 10 minutes before school because he was so embarrassed. Poor kid was probably itchy most of the day! We took the scissors because it is a faster way to shear his hair. I just barely got him to school in time. But at least his pride was in tact!
