Looking Back 0-2

On March 2, 2005 God blessed us with a real live porcelin doll. We named her Aslynn Rebekah Raelyn and she brought pink sunshine into our lives. I hunted and hunted for pictures of herself in the first two years and had a hard time finding them. Micah had been waiting and waiting for a little sibling and never left her alone. As a result we have very few pictures of her by herself. I thought it would be fun for you to see some of the ways that Micah played with Aslynn in the first two years.

Micah carried her ALL around the house much before she could move on her own. We tried to get the two year old boy to stop, but couldn't. So we just tought him how to carry her around under her armpits. He would also drag her bouncy seat around the house to where he wanted her to be. It was very cute.
Aslynn had a mischevious little grin and we knew we would be in for a rough time when she started to walk and talk on a cell phone before she turned one.
We spent the summers camping and at parades. We also dressed up for our fist time trick or treating.

Little Miss Blue Eyes was also the first, (and only), one of our kids, (so far), to need stitches and x-rays.
She also decided that she needed to help with our first renovating project.

Okay this one is just cute.
Then by the end of the year, before turning two, Aslynn became a big sister.
Umm, Mommy, It's going to cry - what do we do??
