The world as Judah sees it

If you have been in Calgary lately you have seen a lot of this:

Skyscrapers are continually being built there, changing the skyline every year.

When the kids stayed in Calgary with my patents in Febuary Judah and Dad took a trip downtown. This is a pretty common adventure for us when we are in the city. We ride the train downtown and wonder around looking at the tall buildings, enjoying the activities in Olympic Plaza, wondering down Stephan Ave., and spending some time at Devonian Gardens.
Micah and Aslynn opted out of the trip this time, so it was just Judah and Grandpa.

They spent some time looking over the new skysraper being built by Encana.

Commonly known as the 'Encana Banana', this building is going to soon be the tallest building in Calgary. I'm assuming it's know as the 'Encana Banana' because of it's unique shape, as seen here from the top.

See how the shape resembles a banana.
I can see that, you can see that. Judah .... not so much.

Judah is pretty sure that this building should not be called a banana. No he can't see that, even though he's been told that's what he should see.
Judah is pretty sure that it's not the 'Encana banana', but rather the world's tallest stick of celery.
He's right.
Apparently him and Grandpa had a amusing discussion about the world's tallest stick of celery being built in Calgary. Everyone on the train with them was very amused. Especially when they got into the discussion about how many dump trucks of peanut butter and Cheez Whiz they would need to fill up the giant celery stick.
So often we look at the world in the way that we are told to. I love seeing the world through Judah's eyes.
