This picture was taken on May 2nd. I just wanted picture evidence to prove that we still had snow on the ground in May in 2011. The next day this small pile of snow was gone, but the picture below was taken to see the piles of snow that I could still see outside our kitchen window. All the snow is finally gone now, the grass is turning green, and the leaves are finally coming out ... it's about time, it's been a long winter.

I was going to take pics of the snow/gravel pile just across the street last week but just couldn't muster enough enthusiasm to take another pic of snow...LOL! I love how things are greening up so fast now. It's like winter to summer.
