Matt was away at a basketball tournament in Seattle, Marek was still a little ill and in need of rest, so today was more of a home and relaxing day. It was nice to just take our time and not go anywhere fast. One last load of laundry, preparing maps and clothes for the next leg of our journey, kids enjoying their cousins and not being in the van too long - it was a good day.
In the afternoon we took a small drive to see Jon and Stephanie Pasuik in Chilliwack for a few hours. The kids had fun playing with Kali, the dog, playing Wii and watching "How to Train Your Dragon" while we chatted and got to know little Natalia. Then we had pizza together for supper. Judah and Aslynn got buzzed right after that on aspartame we think and were off the wall, perfect timing for goodbyes and goodnights for them. It took them a while to go down for bed, but we have to get up early tomorrow. That's what I'm going to do right now. Good night!
