San Diego

Hey everyone! Here we are, able to actually take a moment to blog something since we are taking a break from life. Which we desperately needed. So since we are blogging, it is about our trip. Because it's easier than talking about our normal life. So this is us on the way to San Diego!
Just prior to boarding in Edmonton for their first flight (in memory)

Yes, it is possible to fit Judah in our carry-on.

All snuggled in!

Plenty of fun on the plane!

Not everyday that you de-plane onto the tarmack!

Expending energy on moving sidewalks...

Playing with science in the San Francisco airport.
When we arrived in San Diego, we felt so comfortable. Only a few issues with the car rental. It was a relaxed day the following day after getting to the hotel at midnight. We ate breakfast, did some shopping for food for the family, and after lunch headed off to Coronado's beach.
Judah kept asking where the coconuts were...

It started as a castle - it became a huge hot tub.

Uncle Eric body boarding in Coronado's ocean surf.

The sparkles in the sand looked like gold everywhere.

Micah body boarding and doing great!

Auntie Faith with Kylie dancing in the riptide.
Aslynn and Kylie building a palace.

Victorious pool builders.

.
Owen, Timmy and Aslynn hard at work.
After Eric and Luke tried body boarding in the surf, I had to go for it. Micah waited until all of us were done to go for it himself. A natural, of course. Judah was constructing and digging with a full crew, and Aslynn was playing with everyone and having a great time. Faith had a chance to visit, and later Micah and I were almost a part of hitting a number of people with a Frisbee in the wind. Perfect weather, great family, awesome location - it's going to be a great vacation.
