I bought strawberries the other day. They were on sale and I was just very excited about the fact that is was spring and we could finally buy strawberries. When we got them home and opened them up we discovered that they were not ripe yet. So into the fridge they went while we anxiously waited for them to ripen. I opened them yesterday excited to finally be able to enjoy them. 3/4 of the container was now moldy and bruised. Into the garbage they all went. The kids enjoyed eating the 4 that were non-moldy and I guess I'll just have to buy a new container for me to enjoy.
