Camping in Sir Edmund's Town

Three & a half wonderful days were spent in Edmonton with Mark's cousin & her family. Last summer we discovered a wonderful campground right in the middle of the city. I love camping. We had a fun time, rides at Galaxyland, swimming at a community pool, exploring the science centre, making s'mores, hanging out at the campground, hiding in the tents from the hail, and going for some hikes.

On of our funny moments came as we were on one of those mosquito infested hikes. We were walking along with the boys scampering ahead. Micah enjoys spending time with Riley and they were running and enjoying themselves. All of a sudden Riley tuns to Micah and says, `Look over there!!!'

In all seriousness Micah replies back, `What a Grizzly?!?'

On our next exploration through the woods Micah wondered whether or not this was where the cougars lived.

You can hardly tell he's a city boy hey? Apparently when you leave the streets and enter the trees there must be wild animals somewhere nearby.

We have some great pictures of the weekend but have yet to load the program onto Mark's new toy. (Sorry I meant laptop.)
