And then there was a mouse

Yes I said mouse. After a week with the kids we were home for a few days before heading off again to Edmonton. (that story to come) During those few days we became suspicious that we may have a mouse living with us. There was no outright signs that we took the time to look for. But there were some chocolates that had somehow misteriously disappeared from the top of the fridge.

After a few days in Edmonton we returned ready to carry on with life. Sunday morning as Mark fed Judah the fear was confirmed. A brown, long tailed, fuzzy critter scampered across the living room floor. Knowing that the animal had been seen did not make me feel better about anything. Especially when we began to search the kitchen and ended up cleaning, and bleaching many items. Monday a trap was purchased. (Actually four traps, you can never be to careful) That night as we slept the traps did there work and our fuzzy critter is gone.

I remember having a rat in the house that made it's appearance in the middle of the night. I have never screamed so loud nor jumped up on the counter so fast.
