Bear Lake Bible Camp

I would make an apology for being boring lately, but that's really not fair since we haven't been. We've not been consistent enough bloggers, that's all. And I really ought to check our facebook account...

There's the question of where to begin. Um. I'm at Bear Lake Bible Camp this week as the main speaker for Jr. High Camp. Sweeet! The days prior have been spent with my parents and siblings, and all of us have been HOME (except Luke W., which sucks - I ought to go see him sometime this week). Tomorrow I plan on smashing things and making kids search for things Fear Factor style (digging through poo).

Jr. High youth are a different breed, I tell you. The amount of girls whining and wanting to be switched from cabin to cabin was off the charts. This of course was occuring as my brand-new computer failed to connect to the wireless network, printer, and USB drive that made it freeze, shut-down, and restart four times. (No joke). I guess Vista is as unstable as we all believe it is. I couldn't access a single file on my own computer until I removed and uninstalled it. Wow! At least I started 1 1/2 hours before I needed to speak and 'help' with worship.

All you can do sometimes is pray for God's intervention, protection, and direction in these circumstances. It all seemed to fall apart and then came back together - not in my timing, of course. What God gave me to share definitely impacted the youth though, because they were repeating back what I had shared almost immediately and understood what it meant for them.

This one is going to be a difficult camp all-round. But it will be good.
