Micah and Aslynn were the Cricket-ile Hunters the other day (sooo cute!) They were hunched over wandering around the house in tandem. Micah carried one of Daddy's shoes and Aslynn the flyswatter. I don't know if they actually got any that day, but it was sure funny. I wish we had pictures. In the insanity of the moment cameras were forgotten and put in a 'safe place' which is Parent-speak for "I don't know where I put it..."
Later that week they had those noisy crickets on the run. Mark came home and did some repairs, filled some holes, and sprayed the RAID, hopefully taking out a few of their ranks. They're a force to be reckoned with, and they come in from just about anywhere you can fit a penny. They're ugly black things, not like the cute little ones you feed to your lizards. I've seen them up to two inches long, and that's not including their gargantuan feelers and legs and EWWW. Juicy. They squish like 'roaches too!
