Thanksgiving in Calgary

I have pictures, but blogger keeps giving me errors when I try to upload them. That stinks. Thanksgiving photos are so colourful. Maybe that's why we have Thanksgiving earlier than our American counterparts. All I know is, Micah is American, so we get to celebrate twice (and that rocks).

We had loads of fun. Besides getting our insurance payout, actually seeing the wrecked van at the junkyard and getting the plates, registerring and insuring and buying a brand new van, and meeting with a lawyer to finalize our house sale (yay!) we tried to take it easy.

The kids played in the leaves, we went to playgrounds, and we were home with family. We saw Jon & Anemone & their kids, Grandpa and Grandma Nation, and Uncle Brian and Auntie Joy and their kids. We were well fed and had a blast.

The kids (Noah, Micah, and Aslynn) helped make and bake A LOT of apple pies and a few pumpkin pies to boot. Try that sometime. I'm sure you'll be amused. Sorry, there are no pictures of that even IF Blogger was working properly.

Faith's mom is actually here this week, and her dad will be coming out on the weekend. He had to teach a week-long course at Millar which is about 2 hours or so away. We'll see if I end up laying more flooring or not by the week's end...
