At Mom & Dad's Place

This is Faith with the Willms' puppy, Harley. What is he again? A "red-boned coon-hound"? As you can see, she's wearing the appropriate summer attire of a sweater and jeans for the lovely weather we've been experiencing this year across much of Canada.

Micah had a good time riding the quad as long as Grandpa Siebert was near the controls. The first day he drove it himself; the next day he refused to. Typical Micah...

We were able to spend a decent amount of time at the farm, though we still scheduled visits on most nights. We got to see Chad & Chris, Dana & Sylvia, and Brett & Andrea, though not for very long. One night Dad & Mom sent Faith and I on a date and kept the kids to themselves. The morning we left, Faith and I went picking wild saskatoons around 7 AM. The thermometer read 2 degrees celsius. BRRRR! We still got two 4L pails worth and Mom & Dad sent us on with some of theirs - and added a pail of cherries. It's nice to have such generous parents (even if the saskatoons were free, they take work to pick). It was a lot of fun being there with them. We podded peas for a couple of pickings and roped Heather into it one day. She brought herself and the boys over to visit, which we and our kids were thrilled about.

Again, we're sorry if we missed seeing you. Maybe if we lived there things would be different.
