No, I don't mean you. You think I would tell you to do something like that? As if.I was just thinking of being over at Eric & Jana's place and watching little Tim stick everything and anything into his mouth. Toys, food, sand, you name it, it's probably been there. I'm sure I had kids that did stuff like that, didn't I? Oh wait, I was that kid!
I remember seeing pictures of me with dirt all over my face. I would take her precious plants that she worked so hard to maintain and dig them up. They didn't stand much of a chance against me. I'm sure my parents wondered whether I had a conscience or not with the amount of trouble I got into and the looks of innocence I would give them as a toddler. Anyway, one time I had gotten exactly what I was looking for out of one of Mom's planters, and she caught me. She scolded me, washed me up, and set me free in the house again after cleaning up the disaster I had created. When she looked at me soon after, there was still a ring of black dirt around my mouth. I had a huge rock in there that I was hiding from her. Or so the story goes...

Tim ate a lot of sand when we were at the park near his house. I wasn't sure when Eric opened his diaper whether the sand had entered it in the conventional way or used the back door. I opt to imagine the former. It was pretty full, after all.
It was a lot of fun to see Eric & Jana and the boys. Owen is so grown up now. He played fairly well with Judah this time around. Judah can be a bit of a bully sometimes, but he was fairly well-behaved. Thanks for inviting us out. We love spending time with you.
