Judah has remained dry for the past three days with only one incident where he was outside and couldn't make it in time. On the other hand, Aslynn wet the bed last night and I have been woken up by a child wandering into our room between two and three in the morning for three if not four nights in a row requiring some kind of assistance. I'm a little cranky. Don't touch me.
Aslynn probably isn't able to sleep right now even though it is nap time. She didn't have one yesterday to go shopping with Mommy and some friends of theirs. This morning she went to the "Moms and Tots" registration with Faith and Judah and this evening she will be at a birthday party for one of her friends. Last night we were all over at Clayton and Tamara's place and the kids partied there as well. She's been a social butterfly - I hope she doesn't turn into a social worm when she gets home and takes a rest in her cocoon!
Micah's school is not the most organized nor the most communicative school in the world. Frankly, they send monthly calendars home after the month has already started and cancel events the day of. That happened on Monday. The note Micah brought home yesterday told us that the "Meet the Teacher" night will now be next Monday. As well, Micah's class is a Grade 2/3 split - this will change on Monday as well. Enrollment is down for a number of reasons (homeschooling, conflicts, lack of families moving in and more moving out, etc) and the K/1 teacher got transferred to Moose Jaw. Micah will be in a Grade 1/2 split now with the same teacher he started the year with. However, the kindergarten class will have their own teacher for once, someone new to them. The Grade 3's will join half of the Grade 4's with their teacher and the other half of the Grade 4's will be with the Grade 5's and their teacher. Confused? I am. At least most things will stay the same for Micah. It will be more like last year because it will be all of the same kids in his class. He's okay with that. I actually liked the fact that he was being challenged by the teacher to do harder math and english work. Hopefully she continues that with the Grade 2's while the Grade 1's are present...
