On the eleventh day of December `The Crazy Life' gave to me:

A bad case of the giggles. Oh, wait! 6 hours at church, 5-minute meals, 4 different functions, 3 children behaving, 2 dress rehearsals, 1 family performance, 12 hours working and 11 of us opening gifts.

We had the young adults over in the evening, which was likely the most relaxing point of our day. They brought gifts (or tried to) that began with the letter "J" for $5. We then attempted to watch a D-rated Justin Bieber documentary without laughing and offending any fans present, but there was no use! My face hurt and we had to turn it off after about 22 minutes - that's right, we even looked at the time because I wanted to see how much torture remained - another 45 minutes. This morning a poster from the DVD case ended up on my friend Everett's toolbox at the Chrysler dealership and online:

Part of the day was spent at St. Michael's Grove Manor, a seniors' complex, where we sang and played with Russ and Tina Friesen and friends. Judah got into his job handing out jingle bells, and all of the kids did so well with whatever was asked of them. Micah and Aslynn read a passage from Isaiah together.

That was sandwiched between two practices - one for the kids singing a song for the Nativity performance Faith and I are involved in while Faith and I were fitted for our costumes, and the other was a dry run-through on-set in the late afternoon / evening. Did I mention this was Sunday? At least I had passed off my senior high Sunday School class to someone else and didn't have to do announcements again or anything like that. Oh - pray for our crew and actors / actresses. Many of them have this awful flu that is going around and it just keeps lingering on and on. One of the ladies working with us ended up having a stress / flu-induced seizure that evening and we drove her home while someone else delivered her car to her apartment.

The crazy life continues...
