On the tenth day of December `The Crazy Life' gave to me:

8 players playing, 7 dozen cookies, 6 hours working, and 10 goals were scored in one game.

Micah's team was depleted of players because a number of parents were helping out with WECA's Night in Bethlehem - comparatively, think of the days of the singing Christmas tree in Grande Prairie or the Bethlehem Live in Moose Jaw and quadruple it. It helps to have a congregation of several thousand to put together a massive event. Maybe we'll go next year if we have time.

Anyway, it gave our players more of a chance to score. Between Micah and Joshua, the pucks were flying at the net. Most of the best players were still there. Fortunately for the other team, they had phenomenal stand-on-your-head goaltending that prevented a complete blow-out. The score was 7-3 for Micah's team.

And Mark was out again tonight at the church banquet. If I had gone, I wouldn't have seen my date anyway. He was at the back running sound and computers for the MC and Jon Bauer. In between that some food went in his mouth (he's not sure - it was a bit of a blur).
