Aslynn's 8th Birthday

Aslynn had struggled to come up with a theme for her birthday this year. At first she said she would like it to be a cow girl birthday. That, my friends, was totally random for her. As are many things in her life. But this meant that we were going to have to find something that was truly uniquely her.

So we asked her if we could give her the mall. A shopping birthday. She approved wholeheartedly.

Three layers later we had a pet shop, a cafe, a clothing boutique, a pool, fountain, and lounge. And don't forget the escalators that lead to these floors. We are getting desperate to use other colours and feel like we were unable to decorate the cake to the best of our abilities. We felt like using dolls was cheating.

Aslynn couldn't wait to show her friends her cake. And her room. We realized that none of them had been here for her last birthday because each year her class changes almost completely. And a few were away because there was a long weekend in the school schedule. What can you do? And she liked her gifts. She enjoyed herself and her friends liked their time here as well. And of course, she wants to go shopping now.
