And they are remembering. A bunch of Jr. Highers who are ready to go and hormonally imbalanced are actually listening and sitting through 15 - 20 - 25 minute talks and messages. And it's been good for my soul. A bunch of these kids are obviously unchurched and jaded by their worlds. Some are just here for the fun or the boys or the girls. But through all of that attraction to those things God is at work in them. It's cool. And I'm excited.
I even got asked to speak at a youth retreat weekend this fall. I said I'll have to think it over. Hopefully I'll have a job by then. The right job. But I'll take what I can get in-between times. God is good. I'll type more and insert a couple of pictures. I went and visited Stanley Moodie for a few moments to get some manure on Monday. I'll tell you later...

Pictures...
This is me with a black eye from trying to throw one of the counselors into the lake. Success was brief and short-lived. My nose only bled for a little while.
We had great food from the Mission Heights ladies and kids.
The weather was awesome. Cabin discussions were held outside at times. The night before this myself and a few counselors and boys discovered some girls sleeping outside in tires. The girls went 'head over heels' in the most literal sense of the phrase. Until the tires hit the goal posts, that is!
Beach volleyball was fun. Even with those who didn't play so well. Myself included.
This is a picture of Bear Lake from the corner at Emerson Trail and 724 on my way to my parents' place away from camp.
