Noah's Birthday

We went to the Telus World of Science today for our nephew's birthday party. It was fun. We watched an African Safari on a screen big enough to make a person sick (not me, of course). Aslynn talked all the way through and got pretty bored by the end. Micah really enjoyed it though. The elephants, jaguars, and rhinos were pretty cool. I liked the way that the movie made you feel like you were flying and driving around.

After that, we went into the WOWtown which the kids just ran around and, get this, shopped with fake food, lists, and cash. That was Micah's favorite, don't laugh. They got out a lot of energy and then we had lunch. The pictures tell the rest of the story.

The kids had fun. Noah was so stoked about all of the construction stuff he got. He yanked out a cord and electrical box and exclaimed, "Wow! and elec-trickle box!" After it all he went downstairs and knocked on walls like Mike Holmes saying, "This wall is rotten. It's double rotten. Let's put on some primer." Very cute. The cake was awesome too...

All he really wanted for his birthday was a big pylon with a flashing light on top.

Shawn and Jolene showed up for supper and Micah was sick, exhausted, and anti-social. Aslynn was a handful because she realized if she stopped talking or standing or eating or anything that - she'd fall asleep. That's where the kids are now. Sleeping. Except Judah who just continues to talk. Great to have you guys over though. It stinks that we won't be here...
