Making the Great Pumpkin

The computer and internet seem to hate us this week and we are struggling with getting pictures up. Finally after much abuse and a few trips to the Internet Services office (and Mark spending 3 hours on our dial-up yesterday evening), here they are. At least carving a pumpkin isn't so bad.






Each of the kids got a turn drawing one of the features on the pumpkin's face. Micah drew the eyes, Aslynn the nose, and Judah the mouth. Micah figured that we ought to make Jack smile a little bit more than Judah had planned, and he added some beautiful mandibles of death...







Micah did a fine job, but I wouldn't give him the knife. You should've seen the sloppy lobotomy he and the other kids gave Jack before I was able to stop them!











Aslynn was quite convinced he needed two noses. I don't know why. Ask her.
