We celebrate American Thanksgiving. And celebrate we did. This picture here is our potatoes (courtesy Everett & Shera Falke). Notice how some of them are red inside? I've had some blue ones from their garden too. Yeah, they taste like potatoes. Unlike the sweet potatoes that are orange and super sweet and yummy (unless you are Micah). But there were plenty of other items on the menu that he does love.
Even with low resolution pictures, you can see how yummy this is. Awesome. Coffee grounds. Mmmmm! Add to that a turkey that has been feeding us for days and weeks after it was cooked, true stuffing that makes you sneeze it's so potent, and peas and cranberry sauce and gravy that cannot be outdone. Amazing. And we all stated the things we were most thankful for. Jesus, our home, our family, our friends at school, and so many more things that God has provided for us. And we get to do this twice a year! And after American Thanksgiving we can start listening to Christmas tunes and finish our Christmas shopping. That's right - we're almost done. Only three gifts left to go. Even Faith's birthday gift has been purchased and wrapped! We hope to see many of you over the Christmas season....

Yum! Looks delish! So can I ask you why you celebrate the US holiday too? I think it's neat, but just curious. I think I should do it too. More turkey. More thankfulness...it's all good!
