It was bad. With some company in the fall though came two trips to IKEA and much discussion between Mark and I as to what we wanted and what would work for us. Judah and I made a third trip to IKEA the next week. This resulted in many boxes in our house, a mess for two weeks as we tore apart the entry way and had to keep coats and the rest of that stuff in our living room, oh and a bruse on my foot that has still not gone away. As Judah and I were getting the stuff in the store I was reaching a bos off the shelf and didn't notice a smaller box on top of it. The smaller box came crashing down on my foot, which probably wouldn't have been so bad if the box hadn't had part of a dresser in it. Needless to say, it hurt, A LOT.
After the mess cleared away our entry way looks like this:
I love it so much!! Those wire baskets on the left pull out, and there is one for each of us!! We also put in some angeled shoe shelves and we finally have enough room for all our shoes! There are hooks down low for the kids and a rod up top for us taller people. Everyone can reach their stuff and there is so much room still. I have three plastic bins that are still empty waiting for me to decide what to put in them. Hopefully we can keep it this neat. It sure does help though that the kids can actually reach to put things away. They also like each having their own shelves and baskets so that they know where all their stuff goes. Hope you like it Joy.
